Morgan Boyce Gallery Marlborough

About MorganBoyce

The Morgan Boyce Gallery is situated in the heart of the popular and beautiful market town of Marlborough. With its wide high street and mix of Tudor and Georgian buildings this unique town is steeped in history, surrounded by stunning countryside and the Savernake Forest. An area of outstanding natural beauty it is home to Marlborough College, the famous Marlborough Jazz Festival and Barbury Castle races. Close to historic sites such as Avebury, and Stonehenge. The cafe society of Marlborough is only twenty minutes from the M4 motorway and about an hour from London. This is a great place to visit and as such was one of the reasons why it was chosen as an ideal place to locate the Morgan Boyce Gallery.

Launched in 2005 it has since gained an enviable reputation for being the place for identifying young and new talent at affordable prices. Morgan Boyce has been highlighted by The Week magazine as 'the place to buy' and Art of England as a 'contemporary gem'.

The gallery is headed by husband and wife team Adrian and Chantal Morgan Boyce and has gained a reputation for showing the very best in contemporary art, whether it is Abstract, Modernist, or Representational. The gallery is spaced over two floors and its large windows allow an abundance of natural light showing the work at its best. The paintings are sympathetically hung and the sculpture is thoughtfully placed with plenty of freedom to allow the viewer to concentrate, absorb and enjoy.

The gallery holds a number of solo and joint exhibitions each year as well as exhibiting at art fairs across the UK, New York and Europe. The purpose is to bring art from the length and breadth of Britain as well as abroad to Marlborough, from emerging talent to internationally acclaimed artists. The gallery has over 50 artists on their books including painters, sculptors and ceramicists. The work is carefully sourced and considered prior to being exhibited at the gallery.

Morgan Boyce has also built an extensive and discerning portfolio of work for those interested in investment pieces. These include originals and limited editions by Sir Terry Frost, Anthony Frost, Barbara Hepworth, Victor Pasmore, Sandra Blow, Bridget Riley, Victor Vasarely, Dame Barbara Hepworth, and more recently Banksy and Damien Hirst
